Team History
In the summer of 2021 at Skydive Chicago, Joey and Lindsay bonded over their love of 2-way skydives.
Joey had some experience with MFS and is fully responsible for showing Lindsay the way.
That year Ew, Joey was born. With their great friend Tracey Holman on camera, they earned 4th place in the Advanced division at USPA Nationals at SDAZ.
In 2022, Joey and Lindsay continued on with Ew, Joey. Joined by their good friend Johnny Gunn as a fill-in camera flyer, they achieved a gold medal in the Advanced division at USPA Nationals at Skydive Chicago.
For the 2023 season, the duo decided to take their commitment to each other and to the team to the next level.
SDC MatriX was born!
Nick Nash joined as the camera flyer for 2023 & 2024 and we earned bronze in the Open class both years.
Nick Fener took over as the official team camera flyer in 2025 after filling in for 300+ training jumps during the 2024 season.

🔵 Most memorable jump: In 2012 at Tsunami Skydivers in Oceanside CA, it was the first jump my husband Nick did after losing his legs. Very emotional!
🔵 Favorite ice cream flavor: Anything rich with chocolate, peanut butter and cookies!
🔵 Special talent: I used to be in a belly dancing troupe. Now I’m good at stubbing my pinky toe.
🔵 Favorite animal: Ducks!
🔵 Favorite activity when not skydiving: I love a long workout of lifting weights at the gym.
